MapEdit Core ist das Backend für eine Vielzahl von MapEdit Services und Funktionen. Es wird langfristig die IIS Services ablösen und damit das zentrale, plattformübergreifende Backend für das gesamte MapEdit-Ökosystem sein.

Microsoft unterstützt keine Windows-Authentifizierung, wenn HTTP/2 auf IIS verwendet wird. Denn MapEdit.Core.IIS.Auth ist eine Anwendung, die auf IIS ausgeführt wird und die integrierte Windows-Authentifizierung verwendet. Dies ist auch der Grund, warum sich dieser Server in der Active Directory-Domäne befinden muss. Siehe: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/get-started/whats-new-in-iis-10/http2-on-iis Windows-Authentifizierung (NTLM/Kerberos/Negotiate) wird mit HTTP/2 nicht unterstützt. In diesem Fall greift IIS auf HTTP/1.1 zurück.

Microsoft does not support Windows authentication when using HTTP/2 on IIS and MapEdit.Core.IIS.Auth is an application running on IIS and using the built in Windows Authentication (which is also the reason why this server must be in the active directory domain). See here: Windows authentication (NTLM/Kerberos/Negotiate) is not supported with HTTP/2. In this case IIS will fall back to HTTP/1.1.
